Day 1. Flights to Alice Springs (D)

Day 2. Alice Springs (B,L,D)
We start our day with stunning panoramic views of Alice Springs and the surrounding outback landscape from Anzac Hill Lookout, followed by avisit to the historic Outback Telegraph Station, the birthplace of Alice Springs. We then head to the Women’s Museum of Australia and Old Gaol Alice Springs to explore the exhibits showcasing stories of women in Australian history and culture, continuing then to the Royal Flying Doctor Service Museum. Our afternoon finishes with an authentic bush BBQ experience. Enjoy traditional Australian BBQ dishes amidst the outback scenery while listening to a local bush balladeer sing songs and tell stories that celebrate the spirit of life and survival in this harsh land.
Day 3. Alice Springs & Surrounds (B,L,D)
Today we discover the West MacDonnell Ranges. We begin our day with a guided stroll through Ormiston Gorge, where you will experience the rugged beauty of the landscape. Next we have opportunity to cool off with a swim at the picturesque waterhole Ellery Creek Big Hole. Enjoy lunch at Standley Chasm with a self-guided walk through this striking geological formation, known for its dramatic rock walls. Afterwards we embark on a guided walk at Simpsons Gap and finally, capturing a memorable photo at Flynn’s Grave.
Day 4. Kings Canyon (B,L,D)
Departing Alice Springs, our journey takes us to Erldunda Roadhouse for an early lunch. Following this we delve into an enriching Aboriginal Cultural Experience. This evening we settle into Kings Canyon Resort, and immerse in the Light Towers by Night, a sound and light installation enhancing the natural beauty of our surroundings. 1 Night Stay: Discovery Resorts – Kings Canyon, Petermann
Day 5. Kings Canyon to Yulara (B,MT,L,D)
This morning we embark on a scenic walk along the canyon that follows Kings Creek. Afterward, we make our way to Kings Creek Station for morning tea, continuing our journey through Central Australia to Curtain Springs for lunch before arriving for our stay in Yulara. 3 Night Stay: Sails in the Desert, Yulara
Day 6. Uluru, Kata Tjuta & Surrounds (B,D)
Start the morning with a once-in-a-lifetime experience by witnessing the Field of Light, followed by the magnificent colours of sunrise over Uluru. Next, we take a guided walk to the Mutitjulu Waterhole and continue along to the Mala Walk. We then travel around the base of Uluru as our local guide tells stories about the numerous sacred sites. Next, our adventure has us climbing into the saddle for a camel trek adventure which offers another unique way to take in the sights of Uluru and Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). **Lunch is at your own expense today.
Day 7. Helicopter flight over Uluru & Kata Tjuta, Sounds of Silence Dinner (B,SD)
This morning we enjoy the thrill of taking an aerial tour of Australia’s Red Centre during a scenic helicopter flight showcasing the famous landmarks of Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Enjoy some free time this afternoon using the complimentary resort shuttle service or exploring on foot. Tonight, toast the beauty of Uluru as you watch the sun’s dwindling rays light the rock up one final time before dining under a million stars. At the Sounds of Silence specialty dinner, we indulge with a gourmet dinner of Australian delicacies washed down with fine Australian wines, then sit back and relax and learn about the Southern Night Skies. **Lunch is at your own expense today.
Day 8. Flights home (B)
After a leisurely breakfast this morning, we make our way to Ayers Rock Airport for our respective Carbon Neutral flights home.
