DAY 1. ANGOURIE (MT,L,D)

We depart Brisbane Coach Terminal on our luxury ‘Gold Class’ coach, and travel responsibly knowing all coach emissions are 100% offset. Heading south through the green Tweed Valley breaking at Kingscliff for morning tea, we continue on, arriving at the pretty seaside town of Yamba where we enjoy lunch before taking a scenic drive tour, breaking for a photo opportunity at the historic lighthouse. From here we take a short drive to Angourie where we settle into our accommodation. 2 Night Stay: Angourie Resort

DAY 2. GRAFTON (B,D)

This morning we join a local guide for an on coach town tour. Grafton at this time of year is a canopy of colour with over 5000 Jacaranda trees in full bloom. Enjoy an array of events that Grafton’s Jacaranda Festival has to offer. The longest running floral festival in Australia, the Grafton Jacaranda Festival, is held under canopies of purple blossoms and concludes with the spectacular Grand Float Parade. **Lunch is at own expense today at the festival. Festival program is a guide only and is subject to change.

DAY 3. STANTHORPE (B,L,D)

This morning we visit Raspberry Lookout enroute to Glen Innes where we visit the Land of the Beardies History House and Museum, where local artifacts and memorabilia dating back to the early settlers of Glen Innes are on display. After lunch, we make a short stop at the Standing Stones before continuing on to the Tenterfield Railway Museum for a guided tour. We settle into our accommodation late afternoon in Stanthorpe. 2 Night Stay: The Vines Motel & Cottages, Stanthorpe

DAY 4. STANTHORPE (B,MT,L,D)

We start our day with a visit to the Granite Belt Christmas Farm. Explore and feed Santa’s animals, including Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and see the farm of 11,000 real Christmas trees. Enjoy an extensive range of Belgian Chocolates at the Mistletoe Boutique Christmas Store. Next we visit Kent’s Saddlery for a behind the scenes guided tour. We enjoy lunch at O’Mara’s Hotel, built in 1910 on the site of the original single story hotel. Next we are off to enjoy a wine tasting session at Ballandean Vineyard Estate, well known for its vintage red wines. Hear about the history of Ballandean Estate along with a talk about vinification.

DAY 5. STANTHORPE TO BRISBANE (B,MT,L)

We farewell Stanthorpe and travel via Warwick to Glengallan Homestead & Heritage Centre. Enjoy a tour of this grand heritage-listed homestead built in 1864. We then head to Toowoomba to watch the race that stops the nation – Melbourne Cup! Have a punt, wear a fascinator and enjoy the anticipation of the big race. Our afternoon concludes with the last leg back to Brisbane Coach Terminal.
