DAY 1. ARRIVE NORFOLK ISLAND (Refreshment in-flight,D)

Departing Brisbane our Carbon Neutral flights arrive into Norfolk Island where we board a third-party coach, travelling responsibly knowing all coach emissions are 100% offset. Upon arrival, we will be greeted with a welcome to the historic island and transferred to our hotel, checking in to garden view rooms. Tonight, we gather to enjoy a welcome dinner at the resort. 7 Night Stay: Paradise Hotel & Resort Norfolk Island

DAY 2. SUNDAY MARKETS, EMILY BAY, KINGSTON (B,L,D)

This morning we experience Norfolk Island like a local and explore the Sunday markets with an array of local produce and captivating arts and crafts. We then make our way to beautiful Emily Bay, with time for a swim or a stroll on the beach. After lunch we join a local historian on a journey through the World Heritage Listed Convict Kingston area. This immersive tour spans four settlements, tracing the history from the Polynesians through to the Convict Settlements and the legacy of the Bounty Mutineers. Explore the cemetery and delve into the rich history of the Convict Kingston Settlements.

DAY 3. ISLAND TOUR & PROGRESSIVE DINNER PARTY (B,L,D)

After a leisurely start to the day we make our way to Fletchers Mutiny Cyclorama to view an amazing 360 degree panoramic painting. Next, we venture off again on our Island Life tour, gaining a true insight into the intricate nature of modern island life. Learn about how the island generates its electricity, gains its supply of gas, ships in petroleum products and food. End the day with a delightful progressive dinner, sampling local produce at charming venues hosted by local residents.

DAY 4. NATURE TOUR, PITCAIRN SETTLERS VILLAGE (B,L,D)

This morning we explore the natural wonders of Norfolk Island. Be expertly guided through the beauty and characteristics of the island’s delightful native, endemic and introduced species of trees, plants, flowers and fruits. Including the iconic Norfolk Island Pine. After lunch we step back in time at the Pitcairn Settlers Village where we see the original Bailey homestead, before wandering through the museum filled with items of nostalgic and historic interest including the oldest working forge in the Pacific.

DAY 5. BUSHWALK & BREAKFAST BBQ, WONDERLAND BY NIGHT (B,L,D)

This morning we embark on a leisurely 3.5km breakfast bushwalk tour. Traverse the picturesque Mount Bates, paying homage to Captain Cook Monument, and conclude at the stunning clifftops with a delectable breakfast barbeque. This afternoon we visit the magnificent home of author, Colleen McCullough. As the sun sets, prepare to be enthralled by the enchanting Wonderland by Night tour, walking amongst the forest of Norfolk Pines listening to bush poetry written by a Bounty mutineer. **Bushwalk is a Level 3 physical rating and is optional.

Day 6. GLASSBOTTOM BOAT TOUR, TASTE OF NORFOLK TOUR, FISH FRY (B,L,D)

Today, we begin our exploration of Norfolk’s mesmerizing underwater world aboard a Glass Bottom Boat Tour, offering views of vibrant marine life and stunning coral reefs (subject to tides). Following this, on our Taste of Norfolk tour we discover firsthand the history of Norfolk Island liqueurs and rums, we visit a beekeeper’s home and a butcher’s shop, and indulge in a cooking demonstration and tasting of traditional dishes handed down. In the evening, we’ll witness the sunset from one of Norfolk’s majestic western clifftops, enjoying a delightful fish fry feast of local dishes accompanied by island entertainment.

DAY 7. LAVENDER FARM, NIGHT AS A CONVICT DINNER (B,L,D)

This morning we visit Norfolk Island’s first ever Lavender Farm. Here we learn the challenges of importing bare-rooted plants to the island. We learn of 15 varieties of lavender that have been planted and see other commercial plantings of sage, rosemary, rose geranium, sunflowers, and other vegetables. Following lunch, we’ll venture to the quirky Bounty Folk Museum, housed within one of Norfolk Island’s oldest shops established in 1918 and immerse in the island’s history and artifacts. For our finale night together we dress in convict attire (provided) for a ‘Night as a Convict’ and enjoy a fun-filled evening of feasting, singing, dancing and laughter!

DAY 8. FLIGHTS HOME (B,L,Refreshment in-flight)

After our last hearty cooked breakfast on the island, we have time for some last-minute shopping before gathering for a light lunch. We then make our way to the airport for our return Carbon Neutral flight to Brisbane. SEE YORLYE GANE!
