Day 1. Arrive Hobart (D)

Our Carbon Neutral flights arrive into Hobart where we board our opulent ‘Diamond Class’ coach, ensuring responsible travel with 100% offset flight and coach emissions. This evening, enjoy a seafood dinner at the lively Drunken Admiral for a taste of Tasmania. 4 Night Stay: Hotel Grand Chancellor, Hobart

Day 2. Bruny Island (B,L,D)

Experience the best of Bruny Island and keep your camera ready for Australian fur seals and little blue penguins. Explore Mount Mangana’s rainforest in search of the white wallaby, visit The Neck Lookout, and climb to Truganini Lookout. Enjoy Australia’s southernmost Lighthouse Tour at Cape Bruny and a beachside morning tea with Bruny Island cheese, oysters, and fresh baguettes. Our stops today include local food producers, scenic lookouts, and stunning beaches, with time for short walks or a refreshing dip in the Tasman Sea.

Day 3. Port Arthur & Surrounds (B,L,D)

Today we travel via Tasman Arch and Devils Kitchen to visit Port Arthur Historic Site, part of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Australian Convict Sites. Embark on a guided walking tour of this former penal colony, where we explore more than 30 restored buildings and ruins. We then set off on a 30-minute cruise on Carnarvon Bay to admire the natural beauty of this sombre site. We reboard our coach and travel back to Hobart via Eaglehawk Neck.

Day 4. Merry Christmas (B,L,D)

Merry Christmas! After a festive breakfast together, the morning is yours to relax and enjoy the facilities of our hotel or take a stroll along the waterfront. The highlight today is gathering for our Christmas Day lunch with all the trimmings. Enjoy a long sumptuous lunch with fresh Tassie delicacies, traditional fare and included beverages as we celebrate with friends old and new. A light dinner will be provided tonight at our hotel.

Day 5. Strahan (B,L,D)

Leaving Hobart, we trace the Derwent Valley to Russell Falls, known for its tiered cascade. Next, we explore ‘The Wall in the Wilderness’, an ongoing artistic project depicting Central Highlands history. In the afternoon, we journey west, visiting Nelson Waterfalls and viewing the Iron Blow copper mine and Queenstown before reaching Strahan. 2 Night Stay: Hilltop Harbour View Rooms, Strahan Village Motel

Day 6. Strahan (B,L,D)

Soak up the serene beauty of western Tasmania and relax in reserved window seating as we cruise the mighty Gordon River. We pass natural landmarks like Hells Gates, which marks the entrance to Macquarie Harbour from the Southern Ocean. We disembark and visit Sarah Island, a former convict settlement and shipyard. Enjoy a delicious lunch on board as we journey through the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage area before returning to Strahan for the afternoon.

Day 7. Cradle Mountain (B,L,D)

Today we step back in time aboard the fully restored heritage carriages of the West Coast Wilderness Railway. We journey into the history of the wild west coast with our guide bringing stories of the railway and its resilient people to life. Enjoy lunch on board before our rail journey concludes. Tonight will be an unforgettable experience when we join Devils@Cradle on the after dark feeding tour. Experience the rare opportunity to see Tasmanian devils up close as they feed. Day 8. Cradle Mountain – Devonport (B,L,D)

This morning we enjoy a guided tour through the myrtles and King Billy pines at Cradle Valley to Gustav Weindorfer’s Chalet. Here we gain an insight into the early history of the Cradle Mountain area and the people who played a pivotal role in the establishment of the National Park. We make our way to Hellyers Road Distillery for lunch before before we immerse ourselves in a scenic ride on the Nut Chairlift offering breathtaking views before re-boarding the coach and travelling through the picturesque north coast of Tasmania via Penguin, Ulverstone and onto Devonport for our overnight stay. 1 Night Stay: Novotel Devonport

Day 9. Launceston (B,L,D)

Our travels today take us to Sheffield, a town with over 100 murals that depict local history and characters. Next we enjoy some time to explore the shops in Deloraine before arriving at Villarett Gardens for lunch. Our final attraction today is Launceston’s Cataract Gorge, where we take a ride on the world’s longest single span chairlift, enjoying spectacular views of this unique piece of urban wilderness. Tonight we enjoy New Year’s Eve celebrations together and ring in 2026! 2 Night Stay: Country Club Tasmania, Launceston

Day 10. Launceston (B,L,D)

Happy New Year! Today we travel to Beauty Point stopping at Brady’s Lookout and Beaconsfield. Here we are given the choice of visiting the only Seahorse farm in the world or Platypus House. We then travel to East Tamar via the unique A-frame Batman Bridge. We break for lunch before travelling on to Legerwood to view the tree carvings – an amazing avenue of memorial tree carvings that are a lasting tribute to soldiers who lost their lives in WWI.

Day 11. Flights home (B)

After a leisurely breakfast this morning we make our way to Launceston airport for our respective Carbon Neutral flights home.
