DAY 1. Brisbane to Port Macquarie (L,D)

We depart from the Brisbane Coach Terminal on our opulent ‘Diamond Class’ coach, travelling responsibly knowing all coach emissions are 100% offset. Travelling south down the coast to New Italy for lunch, our afternoon then takes us through Coffs Harbour to Port Macquarie. 1 Night Stay: Sails Resort, Port Macquarie

DAY 2. Port Macquarie – Wollongong (B,L,D)

This morning, we say goodbye to Port Macquarie’s coastal beauty, take a brief stop in Bulahdelah, and continue on to Gosford for lunch. We then travel along the picturesque Sea Cliff Bridge, offering stunning coastal views, before concluding our day in Wollongong for the night. 1 Night Stay: Novotel Wollongong Northbeach

DAY 3. Wollongong – Merimbula (B,L,D)

Today, enjoy a scenic journey with a stop in charming Ulladulla for morning tea and a chance to stretch your legs. Upon arrival at Batemans Bay, savour a delightful lunch on a relaxing cruise from the Innes Boat Shed, taking in the stunning waterways, local wildlife, and breathtaking coastal views along the Clyde River. DAY 4. Merimbula – Lakes Entrance (B,L,D)

This morning, we explore the Sapphire Coast, arriving in Eden for a guided tour of the 85-year-old Killer Whale Museum. Discover 1800s whaling history and see ‘Tom’ the Killer Whale’s full skeleton. Then, we cross into Victoria, passing through East Gippsland’s timber-rich landscapes to reach the seaside town of Lakes Entrance. 1 Night Stay: Bellevue on the Lakes Hotel, Lakes Entrance

DAY 5. Lakes Entrance – Inverloch (B,L,D)

After a relaxed start, we take a leisurely cruise along the North Arm to Wyanga Park Winery for a sumptuous lunch with local wines. In the afternoon, we journey through Sale, pass south of the Strzelecki Ranges, and travel along the South Gippsland Highway to Yarram. Continuing along the coast, we reach Inverloch, known for its rich shipwreck history, including the notable wreck of the Amazon in 1863. 2 Night Stay: RACV Inverloch Oceanside Resort, Inverloch

DAY 6. Wilsons Promontory & Cruise (B,MT,AT,D)

Today, we journey to Wilsons Promontory, the southernmost point of mainland Australia, known for its stunning coastal landscapes and untouched wilderness. Our adventure begins with a cruise from Tidal River into Bass Strait, exploring Victoria’s first marine national park, including Skull Rock, and observing fur seals, diverse birdlife, dolphins, and whales. We conclude with afternoon tea at Fish Creek before returning to our hotel, enriched by the natural wonders of this unique region.

DAY 7. Inverloch – Cowes & Phillip Island (B,L,D)

Our journey takes us to Wonthaggi, where we explore the rich history of the Wonthaggi State Coal Mine Heritage Area. Next, we tour the Royal Botanic Gardens on the explorer, discovering Australian landscapes before lunch at Boon Wurrung Café. In the afternoon, we arrive in Cowes for some free time and hotel check-in. As evening falls, we visit Phillip Island Nature Park for the Penguin Parade, watching from premium underground viewing as hundreds of fairy penguins waddle ashore, creating an unforgettable dusk spectacle. **The Wonthaggi underground tour requires a level 3 fitness rating, as you are to walk in and out of the cave system via a 300m long tunnel at a 1:4 gradient (quite steep). No assisted aids are allowed during this experience. 1 Night Stay: The Sea Pavilions, Cowes

DAY 8. Phillip Island to Drysdale, Q Train & Melbourne (B,SL,D)

Leaving Phillip Island, we enjoy a scenic journey around French Island and the marine national park, arriving in Sorrento. We then catch a ferry to Queenscliff and head to Drysdale, where we board The Q Train for a nostalgic ride along the Bellarine Railway, savouring a decadent degustation menu, while enjoying views of the rolling hills. In the afternoon, we pass through Geelong and continue around Port Phillip, arriving in the vibrant city of Melbourne. 1 Night Stay: Crown Metropol, Melbourne CBD

DAY 9. Flights home (B)

This morning is free for some last minute shopping in Melbourne before we make our way to Tullamarine Airport on a locally operated comfort plus coach for our respective Carbon Neutral flights home. **Lunch is at your own expense today.
