DAY 1. ARRIVE CANBERRA – THREDBO (L,D)
Our carbon neutral flights arrive into Canberra, where we board our luxurious ‘Gold Class’ coach, ensuring responsible travel with 100% offset flight and coach emissions. After enjoying a lovely lunch in Canberra, we make our way into Kosciuszko National Park to admire its rugged landscapes and limestone gorges before arriving in Thredbo, nestled in the heart of the Snowy Mountains. 2 Night Stay: Alpine Hotel Thredbo
DAY 2. MOUNT KOSCIUSZKO (B,L,D)
This morning is yours to explore at your own pace, with plenty of time for self-guided walks through the natural beauty of the area. Later, we take the Kosciuszko Express Chairlift for a scenic ascent to Eagles Nest Restaurant, where we enjoy a delicious lunch while soaking in panoramic views of Mount Kosciuszko. Afterward, we return by chairlift to Thredbo Village before experiencing a thrilling luge ride, winding down a 700m track through the Thredbo wilderness.
DAY 3. LAKES ENTRANCE (B,L,D)
Our journey begins in Thredbo as we travel to Corryong, home of the Snowy River Bush Festival and located along the Murray River. We then visit Bright, renowned for its vibrant gardens and stunning autumn foliage. DAY 4. TRARALGON (B,L,D)
After a relaxed start to the day, we enjoy a leisurely lake cruise past the entrance and along the North Arm, making our way to Wyanga Park Winery. Here, we indulge in a delicious lunch paired with local wines. 1 Night Stay: Century Inn, Traralgon
DAY 5. COWES (B,MT,AT,D)
Today we travel to Wilsons Promontory, often called “The Prom,” marking the southernmost point of mainland Australia. This spectacular destination offers breathtaking coastal scenery and pristine wilderness. Our adventure begins with an eco cruise from Tidal River into Bass Strait, home to Victoria’s first marine national park. Along the way, we encounter Australian fur seals, diverse birdlife, and coastal dolphins and whales. We pause for afternoon tea at Fish Creek before continuing to Phillip Island. 2 Night Stay: Kaloha Resort, Cowes
DAY. 6. COWES (B,MT,D)
This morning we visit the Wonthaggi State Coal Mine, once vital for Victorian Railways. Explore underground tunnels and envision the miners of the past drilling for coal. The mine remains unchanged, with tools and equipment still in place. Lunch features classic fish and chips, followed by leisure time at the resort. Later, we explore Phillip Island’s western shoreline before heading to Phillip Island Nature Park for the famous Penguin Parade. Witness enchanting fairy penguins waddle ashore at dusk—a magical experience to remember.
DAY 7. MELBOURNE (B,L,D)
This morning we venture on to Sorrento, where we board the ferry to Queenscliff, crossing the serene waters of Port Phillip Bay. From here, we embark on a memorable culinary adventure aboard the renowned Q Train. This unique dining experience takes us on a scenic journey through the stunning Bellarine Peninsula, offering a multi-course gastronomic delight crafted from the finest local produce. As the train glides through the picturesque landscape, indulge in a feast for the senses, with each dish perfectly paired with regional wines and a focus on showcasing the area’s rich flavours. We then make our way to the vibrant city of Melbourne, where we will spend our final evening together. 1 Night Stay: Crowne Plaza Melbourne
DAY 8. MELBOURNE AIRPORT (B)
We offer you a free morning for some last-minute shopping in Melbourne before transferring to Tullamarine Airport for our respective carbon neutral flights home.
