Today we travel via Moree to break in Narrabri. We then climb Mount Woorat in the Warrumbungle National Park to arrive at Siding Spring Observatory, Australia’s premier optical and infrared observatory. This morning takes us to Wellington Caves for a 1-hour guided tour of the Cathedral Cave, famous for its huge stalagmite known as Altar Rock which stands at a height of 15 metres. Leaving Orange we travel on through the quaint townships of Coolah, Spring Ridge and Werris Creek to Tamworth. After a short break at the Big Golden Guitar we continue on to finish our day in Armidale.1 Night Stay: Cotswold Gardens, Armidale
Leaving Armidale we travel north through Glen Innes and cross the border to Stanthorpe for lunch paired with wines at Heritage Estate Winery. After lunch, we descend the Cunningham Range returning to Brisbane Coach Terminal.
