DAY 1 – NEWCASTLE & HUNTER VALLEY (L,D)

Our flight arrives into Newcastle, where we board our luxury ‘Diamond Class’ coach and journey into the beautiful Hunter Valley. We begin with a leisurely long lunch at Amanda’s on the Edge, enjoying seasonal cuisine and regional flavours. This afternoon, we indulge our sweet tooth with a visit to the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company, including a specially arranged chocolate tasting before continuing to our resort. After time to settle in, we gather for dinner. 1 Night Stay: Mercure Hunter Valley Resort, Pokolbin.

DAY 2 – HUNTER VALLEY TO BLUE MOUNTAINS (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we farewell the Hunter Valley and travel to Penrith to board the Nepean Belle Paddlewheeler.

Cruise through spectacular Nepean Gorge, enjoying lunch and Captain’s commentary as sandstone escarpments frame the tranquil river. We then continue into the Blue Mountains and check in at Fairmont Resort. 1 Night Stay: Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains, Leura.

DAY 3 – BLUE MOUNTAINS TO SYDNEY (B,L,D)

Today we explore the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, beginning at Echo Point Lookout for sweeping views across the Jamison Valley to the Three Sisters. At Scenic World, glide between clifftops aboard the Scenic Skyway with views of Katoomba Falls and the surrounding wilderness. After lunch, we travel to Sydney and check in before dinner at SkyFeast Sydney Tower, with spectacular 360-degree city views. 2 Night Stay: Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.

DAY 4 – SYDNEY & VIVID SYDNEY (B,D)

Today we discover one of Australia’s most celebrated landmarks on a privately guided tour of the Sydney Opera House, uncovering the fascinating stories, architecture and secrets behind this World Heritage-listed masterpiece.

The remainder of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure around Circular Quay and The Rocks. Wander the historic laneways, browse boutiques and galleries, enjoy the harbour atmosphere or simply find the perfect vantage point to admire the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

Later, we return to our hotel with time to relax and prepare for our spectacular finale.

This evening, step aboard our Vivid Sydney gourmet food and wine cruise and settle into premium upper-deck seating. Enjoy a relaxed dinner as Sydney Harbour transforms into an extraordinary canvas of colour, light and creativity, with uninterrupted views of the dazzling Vivid Sydney spectacular. *Lunch is at your own expense today. *Dinner venue caters for gluten free and vegetarian dietary requirements only. DAY 5 – SYDNEY & DEPARTURE (B)

Enjoy a leisurely farewell breakfast before boarding a local operator’s coach for a final sightseeing drive through famous landmarks, taking in views of Mrs Macquarie’s Chair and Kings Cross before continuing to famous Bondi Beach for free time to have lunch at your leisure.

This afternoon, we transfer to Sydney Airport for our respective flights home, bringing our memorable winter escape through the Hunter Valley, Blue Mountains and spectacular Vivid Sydney to a close. *Lunch is at your own expense today.
