We then get some free time on the island, enjoying lunch overlooking the pristine waters off Great Keppel Island.

This morning we take a scenic drive along the Capricorn Coast making our way to The High Valley Dawn Permaculture Farm. The farm is also home to free ranging animals – horses, ducks, chickens, cattle, sheep, 2 dogs, a pig, and a goat. We enjoy a guided ‘Paddock to Plate’ experience learning all about the farm followed with lunch savouring the produce. Our afternoon takes us along the coastal scenic loop showcasing 13 beautiful beaches. We stop at Emu Park to visit the Singing Ship, a monument that commemorates the area’s legacy of the historical explorations of Captain James Cook. We return to our accommodation mid-afternoon to enjoy some free time downtown. 1 Night Stay: Mantra Gladstone
