DAY 1. Brisbane to Port Macquarie (L,D)

We depart on our opulent ‘Diamond Class’ coach from Brisbane CBD travelling responsibly knowing all coach emissions are 100% offset. Travelling south down the coast to Yamba for lunch, our afternoon then takes us through Coffs Harbour to Port Macquarie. 1 Night Stay: Sails Resort, Port Macquarie

DAY 2. Port Macquarie, Lakes Entrance, Kangaroo Valley (B,L,D)

This morning, we bid farewell to Port Macquarie’s scenic coastal charms. We take a break in Bulahdelah before reaching Lakes Entrance for a seaside luncheon. Afterward, our journey leads us along the picturesque Bulli Pass, where we pause to take in the breathtaking vistas. Our afternoon brings us to Kangaroo Valley, a tranquil haven with rolling farmlands against awe-inspiring cliffs. 1 Night Stay: Wildes Boutique Hotel, Kangaroo Valley

DAY 3. Kangaroo Valley to Batemans Bay, Bega & Merimbula (B,L,D)

Leaving Kangaroo Valley through stunning natural landscapes, embracing the captivating Shoalhaven Coast via Nowra and Ulladulla, known for its pristine beaches and ever-changing vistas. A refreshing break awaits in Batemans Bay before we head to Bega, home of the renowned Bega Cheese Heritage Centre. Enjoy a delectable lunch and savour exquisite cheeses while exploring the rich dairy history of the Bega Valley. DAY 4. Merimbula to Eden & Lakes Entrance (B,L,D)

This morning, we explore the Sapphire Coast, arriving in Eden. There, a guided tour of the 85-year-old Killer Whale Museum, perched on the Pacific shores, unfolds. Learn about 1800s whaling and meet ‘Tom’ the Killer Whale through his full skeleton on display. Crossing into Victoria, we traverse East Gippsland’s timber-rich landscapes before reaching the charming Lakes Entrance, our next enchanting destination.. 1 Night Stay: Bellevue on the Lakes Hotel, Lakes Entrance

DAY 5. Lakes Entrance to Yarram, Port Welshpool and Foster (B,L,D)

After a relaxed start to the day, we join a leisurely cruise past the entrance along the North Arm on our way to Wyanga Park Winery. Upon arrival, we enjoy a sumptuous lunch paired with local wines. This afternoons’ journey takes us through Sale, travelling south of the Strzelecki Ranges and along the South Gippsland Highway to the township of Yarram. We continue on to the coastal fishing village of Port Welshpool, taking a look at the restoration project of their famed Long Jetty which was built in 1927. Then it is only a short drive to the agricultural hub of Foster. 2 Night Stay: Prom Country Lodge, Foster

DAY 6. Wilsons Promontory & Cruise (B,MT,AT,D)

Today we journey to Wilsons Promontory, often called ‘The Prom’, twhich marks the southernmost point of mainland Australia, boasting breathtaking coastal landscapes and untouched wilderness. Our adventure begins with a cruise from Tidal River into Bass Strait, where Victoria’s first marine national park thrives. Encounter Australian fur seals, diverse birdlife, and coastal dolphins and whales. We pause for afternoon tea at Fish Creek before returning to our lodge, having experienced the natural wonders of this unique region.

DAY 7. Foster to Wonthaggi, & Phillip Island (B,L,D)

Our journey leads us to Wonthaggi, where we delve into the rich history of the Wonthaggi State Coal Mine Heritage Area, once a vital coal supplier for Victorian Railways. Lunch brings a taste of tradition with a delicious fish and chips meal. Next, we embark on a two-hour coastal wildlife cruise, a remarkable opportunity to get up close with thousands of seals at Australia’s largest fur seal colony. These naturally curious creatures often approach our boat for a closer look. Our adventure continues with a lesson on Phillip Island’s western shoreline history. As day transitions to evening, we head to Phillip Island Nature Park for the renowned Penguin Parade. Watch from premium underground viewing as hundreds of enchanting little penguins, also known as fairy penguins, emerge from the ocean, waddle across the sand, and return to their burrows, creating an unforgettable spectacle at dusk. 1 Night Stay: North Pier Hotel, Cowes

DAY 8. Phillip Island to Drysdale, Q Train & Melbourne (B,SL,D)

Leaving Phillip Island, we embark on a scenic journey, circling French Island and the marine national park, arriving at Sorrento. Here, we catch a ferry across to Queenscliff. Our next destination is Drysdale, where we step back in time aboard The Q Train, which travels along the picturesque Bellarine Railway. As we relish a decadent degustation menu, we take in the rolling hills of Bellarine and immerse ourselves in the train’s rich history. In the afternoon, our route leads us through Geelong on our way around Port Phillip as we approach the vibrant city of Melbourne. 2 Night Stay: Crown Metropol, Melbourne CBD

DAY 9. Free day in Melbourne (B,D)

Today is yours to spend at leisure. You may wish to avail yourself of the free City Circle Tram service which passes many of the major tourist attractions. **Lunch is at own expense today.

DAY 10. Flights home (B)

We offer you a free morning for some last minute shopping in Melbourne before transferring to Tullamarine Airport for our respective Carbon Neutral flights home.
