Day 1: Spirit of Queensland – Brisbane to Cairns
Join the Spirit of Queensland this afternoon and travel north overnight to Cairns. Overnight on board the Spirit of Queensland. (D)
Day 2: Cairns
Arrive into Cairns and stay overnight at Holiday Inn Cairns Harbourside. (B,L)
Day 3: Cairns to Cape Tribulation
Travel north along the scenic route to Mossman Gorge and take a guided walk through the World Heritage listed rainforest. Embark on a one hour Daintree River cruise. Stay overnight in the Daintree, Cape Tribulation. (B,L) .
Day 4: Cape Tribulation to Cooktown
Today continue travelling through the heart of this World Heritage Listed area on the Bloomfield Track. Discover Black Mountain which is steeped in Aboriginal legend before arriving in Cooktown. Stay overnight in Cooktown. (L)
Day 5: Cooktown to Cairns
Enjoy the morning at leisure and spend time discovering Cooktown. Experience the unspoilt beauty of the area, which remains much the same as Cook knew it in 1770. This afternoon depart Cooktown via the inland road, The Mulligan Highway, travelling through a diverse landscape of cattle stations and the Palmer River Gold mine region. Arrive back into Cairns this evening. Stay the next two nights at Holiday Inn Cairns Harbourside. (L)
Day 6: Cairns
Spend the day at leisure exploring Cairns. Visit the wide range of shops and restaurants or relax at Cairns Esplanade Lagoon. (B)
Day 7: Cairns
Your holiday concludes upon check-out from the hotel. (B)
