DAY 1 – ARRIVE SYDNEY
Make your way to Sydney, where your holiday experience begins after checking into your stunning accommodation. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to discover the many attractions of this vibrant harbour city.

DAY 2 – SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE, BENNELONG EXPERIENCE
This morning is at your leisure to enjoy the many comforts of your accommodation or perhaps head out for some self-guided exploration.
Later today, make your own way to the Sydney Opera House to meet your guide. Your VIP tour takes you on a journey to uncover the untold stories and history of this iconic landmark. Learn about the magnificent Concert Hall and gain exclusive access to areas usually off limits to the public.
Conclude your tour at Bennelong Restaurant, where you’ll indulge in a culturally significant and inspiring two-course dinner showcasing magnificent Australian food and wine. (B,D)
DAY 3 – SYDNEY
Today is yours to explore the harbour city, from the CBD to Chinatown, Manly to Newtown, or Barangaroo to Darling Harbour. There are plenty of diverse sights, flavours and experiences to enjoy, including museums, galleries, aquariums, gardens and more. (B)
DAY 4 – BOARD THE INDIAN PACIFIC IN SYDNEY
Your adventure begins at Sydney’s Central Station, where the iconic Indian Pacific awaits to carry you across the continent.
As the train eases away from the platform and the city skyline falls behind, you’ll soon be surrounded by the soaring sandstone cliffs and deep valleys of the Blue Mountains. Settle into your cabin or join fellow travellers in the lounge for a drink as your journey unfolds.
This evening, take your seat in the dining car for your first regionally inspired dinner, thoughtfully paired with fine Australian wines and beverages. Afterwards, return to the lounge for a nightcap or retreat to your cabin as the train rolls westward. (B)
OVERNIGHT: 3 nights Indian Pacific
DAY 5 – INDIAN PACIFIC, BROKEN HILL AND ADELAIDE
Your morning begins in Broken Hill, the fabled Silver City. Step off the train for your first Off Train Experience. Explore the town’s mining legacy, taking time to reflect at the Miners’ Memorial, or discover the more colourful side of Broken Hill with Shelita Buffet, the town’s famous drag queen, for a morning of fun, creativity and food.
Refreshments are included before reboarding the Indian Pacific. Back on board, enjoy breakfast and lunch as the train sweeps past the southern tip of the Flinders Ranges in South Australia.
By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Adelaide for a choice of curated experiences. Savour McLaren Vale wines before dining at the cliffside Star of Greece, or sample gin and cheese in the Adelaide Hills followed by a feast at Haus, a German restaurant showcasing the best of local produce.
Alternatively, choose Icons of Adelaide, including a behind-the-scenes tour and tasting at Coopers Brewery, a scenic drive, a teppanyaki dinner at Shiki and a twilight stroll to Adelaide Oval. Another option is a guided tour of the Adelaide Central Market, finishing with an exclusive sit-down dinner in the markets after hours.
After a memorable evening, return to the train to continue your westward journey. (B,L,D)
DAY 6 – INDIAN PACIFIC, NULLARBOR PLAIN
Today is all about the vast and unforgettable views of the Nullarbor Plain. Journey across this legendary expanse along the world’s longest stretch of straight railway track, with endless horizons unfolding outside your window.
Along the way, the train pauses at Cook, once a bustling railway town and now a near-ghost outpost with stories etched into its weathered buildings.
By evening, you’ll reach Rawlinna, on the edge of Australia’s largest sheep station. Here, the outback comes alive as you dine beneath a canopy of stars at a spectacular signature long-table dinner from September to May. During the cooler months, gather around a roaring bonfire with drinks and canapés, soaking up the atmosphere of this remarkable setting. (B,L,D)
DAY 7 – INDIAN PACIFIC, PERTH
Wake to the soft light over Western Australia’s Avon Valley, its rolling green hills a fitting finale to your transcontinental adventure.
Savour a leisurely brunch on board as the train makes its final approach into Perth. Soon, you’ll step off the Indian Pacific, farewelling fellow travellers and crew before transferring to your accommodation.
The remainder of the day is at leisure, giving you time to begin exploring Perth. (B)

DAY 8 – WILLIE CREEK PEARLS, PERTH
Enjoy a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience harvesting your own Australian South Sea Pearl straight from a Pinctada maxima oyster.
The pearls are produced at Willie Creek Pearl Farm in Broome and brought to Perth for this exclusive experience. The value of the pearl inside remains unknown until the breathtaking moment the oyster is opened.
After harvesting your pearl, you’ll learn about the grading process and discover the five key virtues that influence its value. If your pearl is valued between $500 and $3,000 AUD, it is yours to keep.
As part of your experience, enjoy a taste of the rare and luxurious delicacy of pearl meat accompanied by a glass of Margaret River sparkling wine. Conclude your tour with a guided introduction to the Willie Creek Pearls showroom and marvel at the stunning range of pearl jewellery. (B)
