Experience the grandeur of one of the Northern Territory’s most monumental natural wonders with a leisurely Nitmiluk Gorge boat cruise. With a walk of around 700 metres over rocky terrain, you’ll need a good pair of walking shoes and a steady pair of legs.

The Ghan’s Cultural Experience Tour will take you to the heart and history of the beautiful Katherine region with a truly inspiring Indigenous experience. Create your own Indigenous painting, learn to throw a spear using a Woomera and lose yourself in ancient Dreamtime tales.

Visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service base, the Alice Springs Telegraph Station or explore the flora and fauna at the Alice Springs Desert Park. It’s once in a lifetime experiences like these that will be remembered long after the wheels stop turning.

Step off the train into the remote reaches of northern South Australia. If you are traveling north bound, warm yourself with a morning cuppa against the stunning backdrop of an outback Marla sunrise. If you are traveling south bound, cast your eyes skyward for an amazing display of stars at The Ghan’s new Manguri stop.
