Day 1. Arrive Broome (D)
Our Carbon Neutral flights arrive into Broome mid-afternoon, where we are transferred to check-in for the next two nights. Tonight we enjoy a welcome dinner at our hotel. 2 Night Stay: Oaks Broome Hotel
Day 2. Broome (B,D)
At Willie Creek Pearl Farm we join a guided tour and see how the Australian South Sea Cultured Pearl is produced. Back in Broome enjoy free time downtown or simply relax poolside at the hotel. Late afternoon we take a camel safari ride along the famous Cable Beach. Please note: 95kg weight restrictions apply to the camel ride.Lunch is at your own expense today.
Day 3. Broome to Port Hedland (B,L,D)
A travel day today as we begin to traverse the western coastline, and journey between Broome and Port Hedland. We pass by the Eighty Mile Beach region, stopping for lunch, before arriving in the afternoon into Port Hedland. 2 Night Stay: The Hedland Hotel, Port Hedland
Day 4. Port Hedland (B,L,D)
Today we discover Port Hedland’s interesting history, visiting Don Rhodes Mining Museum, Port Hedland Seafarers Centre and Dalgety House Museum. Late afternoon witness a spectacular sunset from Red Bridge Lookout.
Day 5. Karratha (B,L,D)
We travel to Roebourne, stopping for a cuppa before we take a short town tour. We then continue on to the historic ghost town of Cossack, taking time to admire the views from the Tien Tsin lookout. Next, we lunch at Samson Beach before heading to Dampier. We stop by the Red Dog Memorial Statue for a photo opportunity, then taking in the spectacular views from the North West Shelf lookout. Day 6. Exmouth (B,L,D)
Today we venture inland to the small town of Nanutarra, before arriving into Exmouth, home to the stunning Ningaloo Reef, an UNESCO World Heritage listed area. 2 Night Stay: Potshot Hotel Resort,
Day 7. Ningaloo Reef (B,MT,L,D)
We embark on a three-hour Ningaloo Reef tour. Watch through the huge underwater viewing windows as we venture into the world renowned Ningaloo Reef, guided with an informative commentary. Stop at two snorkelling sites for a chance to enjoy the crystal clear water.
Day 8. Monkey Mia (B,L,D)
Setting off for Monkey Mia, the tapestry of landscapes shifts from turquoise shores to the ochre outback, passing through Minilya Bridge Roadhouse and Gascoyne. Approaching Monkey Mia, the scenery softens, revealing Shark Bay’s azure waters. Day 9. Monkey Mia (B,D)
Today we discover the waters of Monkey Mia and Shark Bay. Experience the exhilaration of the wind in your hair, the sun on your skin, a dash of salt spray on your face and an ocean full of wildlife, all under silent sail. Our experienced crew are on hand to teach us about the local dolphins, sharks, dugongs, loggerhead and green turtles and stingrays. Take the afternoon at leisure, to recharge the batteries with a rest or an activity of your choosing. **Lunch is at your own expense today
Day 10. Kalbarri (B,L,D)
This morning we set off, stopping for a short photo opportunity at Eagle Bluff taking one last chance to spot the wildlife from the elevated viewing platform. We then visit Hamelin Pool Telegraph Station, a fascinating museum housing the telegraph station and post office from the 1800s. From here we make our way onto the Kalbarri Skywalk lookout before arriving at our accommodation. 1 Night Stay: Edge Resort, Kalbarri
Day 11. Geraldton (B,L,D)
Leaving Kalbarri behind, we make a short stop at the amazing Pot Alley, a picturesque ocean gorge. Next, we pass by the world’s largest Garnet Mine before stopping at Hutt Lagoon showcasing a superb example of a pink lake. We take to the road again and arrive in Geraldton in time for lunch. This afternoon we embark on a town tour taking in the HMAS Sydney Memorial and St Francis Xavier Cathedral. 1 Night Stay: Hospitality Geraldton
Day 12. Perth (B,L,D)
Skirting the western coastline, we pass through Dongara and travel along the wildflower trail to Cervantes, breaking for a visit to Lake Thetis before enjoying lunch. Next, we explore the famous Pinnacles Desert, a diversity of wildflowers and living stromatolites. We arrive into Perth late in the afternoon. 2 Night Stay: Crown Promenade, Perth
Day 13. Rottnest Island, Perth (B,L,D)
Today we board a ferry bound for Rottnest Island. We take in the unique fauna and flora, stunning beaches, woodlands and salt lakes with our local guide, and maybe even spot a quokka or two. We see the Wadjemup Lighthouse and Cathedral Rocks, ride the historic train and enjoy the sights before returning to the mainland.
Day 14. Flights Home (B)
One last breakfast this morning, before we are transferred to the airport for our respective Carbon Neutral flights home.
