DAY 1 – ARRIVE MELBOURNE (D)
Our flights arrive into Melbourne Airport where we board our luxury ‘Diamond Class’ coach. We make our way to the heart of Melbourne CBD and check in to our hotel. This afternoon is at your leisure to explore the many cafés, shops and famous laneways of Melbourne. DAY 2 – MELBOURNE TO HALLS GAP (B,D)
This morning, embark on a scenic drive through picturesque landscapes and charming rural towns. We arrive at Sovereign Hill, a living museum nestled in the heart of Victoria’s goldfields. Join a local guide and step back in time as you explore this meticulously reconstructed township, authentically recreating the vibrant atmosphere of the gold rush era. DAY 3 – HALLS GAP TO MILDURA (B,L,D)
Leaving Halls Gap, we journey through the picturesque landscapes of the Grampians region and discover the unique artistry of the Silo Art Trail. Witness awe-inspiring works of art as towering grain silos have been transformed into vibrant murals by talented artists. Our journey includes visits to Rupanyup, featuring murals depicting local firefighters; Sheep Hills, showcasing Indigenous culture; and Brim, home to artwork celebrating local farming communities. Continuing to Rosebery, discover silo art that reflects the region’s past, present and future. DAY 4 – MILDURA & SURROUNDS (B,MT,L,D)
Today we join a local guide and take a giant leap back in time as we explore the remarkable landscapes of Lake Mungo, located within the Willandra Lakes World Heritage Area. The highlight of the day is walking upon the spectacular moon-like dunes known as the Walls of China, an ancient ice-age lunette. Discover evidence of the people and animals who once inhabited this unique landscape and admire the geologically significant formations sculpted by time and erosion. DAY 5 – MILDURA TO GRIFFITH (B,L,D)
Experience the golden hues of the Australian outback as you travel through vineyards and citrus orchards. We stop at Yanga Homestead before continuing through picturesque farms and vineyards that showcase the region’s thriving agricultural industries. Arriving in Hay, we take time to admire the impressive water tower art before enjoying lunch. DAY 6 – GRIFFITH (B,L,D)
This morning, we visit the Griffith Tourism Hub’s interpretive display before heading to Piccolo Family Farm for a unique insight into sustainable farming. Explore the vineyards, orchards and gardens, then enjoy a farm-to-table lunch before a guided town tour of Griffith.
DAY 7 – GRIFFITH TO PARKES & DUBBO (B,L,D)
Leaving Griffith behind, we travel to Parkes, home of the famous Parkes Observatory, affectionately known as ‘The Dish’. Explore the fascinating world of astronomy before continuing to Dubbo, where an unforgettable wildlife experience awaits. DAY 8 – DUBBO TO ARMIDALE (B,L,D)

Leaving Taronga Western Plains Zoo behind, we travel through picturesque countryside, passing rolling hills and charming farmland as our journey continues. Continuing our journey, we arrive in Dunedoo, a quaint town known for its rich agricultural heritage. From here, we travel to Spring Ridge, where we stop for lunch before continuing to Tamworth, the country music capital of Australia. DAY 9 – ARMIDALE TO BRISBANE (B,L)
Leaving Armidale, we travel north through Glen Innes before crossing the border into Queensland and arriving in Stanthorpe. Here, we enjoy lunch accompanied by wines at Ballandean Estate Wines. After lunch, we descend the Cunningham Range and continue our journey back to the Brisbane Coach Terminal, arriving in the late afternoon.
