DAY 1. Tuesday – Arrive Sydney & Blue Mountains (L,D)

After our flights arrive in Sydney, we board our opulent ‘Diamond Class’ coach and depart for the serene World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains.In Faulconbridge we stop in at the Norman Lindsay Gallery & Museum for lunch in the café, a tour of the gallery and time to explore the beautifully landscaped grounds. We then continue on to Leura for the duration of our stay in the Blue Mountains 4 Night Stay: Fairmont Resort, Leura

DAY 2. Wednesday – Blue Mountains (B,L,D)

This morning we head to Lithgow to Hassan’s Wall Lookout, the highest lookout in the Blue Mountains offering dramatic views of the escarpment and the rolling valleys. Next we take a ride on the newly re-opened heritage Zig Zag Railway which climbs the western flank of the Blue Mountains. After a visit to the Lithgow Small Arms Factory Museum we backtrack to Mount Victoria and Govetts Leap Lookout before arriving at the historic Hydro Majestic Hotel. Here we enjoy the grand tradition of a high tea surrounded by elegance and charm with spectacular views of the Megalong Valley. Later we take a guided tour of the Casino Lobby, Majestic Ballroom and Pavillion. GGP

DAY 3. Thursday – Scenic World, Blue Mountains (B,L,D)

Arriving at Scenic World, we take full advantage of our Ultimate Pass riding the Scenic Skyway, with its 360° views of Katoomba Falls, the Three Sisters, and the Jamison Valley. We’ll take the Cableway into the valley then ride the railway and discover the tranquillity of ancient rainforest as we are guided through the Rainforest Walkway. Next we return to an era of grace, elegance and charm as we dine at the historic Carrington Hotel, established in 1883. After a visit to the spectacular Echo Point lookout the rest of the afternoon is at leisure. GGP

DAY 4. Friday – Jenolan Caves (B,L,D)

Today we travel west through Mount Victoria to Jenolan Caves to discover the amazing limestone crystal formations during a private guided tour of the Imperial Cave where we follow an ancient river passage. After lunch we take the indigenous surface walking tour ‘Shaping Waters’ and learn how the Gundungurra people utilised the caves. GGP

DAY 5. Saturday – Tobruk Sheep Station, Sydney Showboat Cruise, Sydney (B,L,D)

This morning we encounter an authentic outback experience at Tobruk Sheep Station. Set on a high plateau above the Hawkesbury River, Tobruk is surrounded by state forests and bushland with amazing views to the Blue Mountains. On arriving in Sydney we make our way to Circular Quay to check-in. Tonight we board the Sydney Showboat for a magical 3-course dinner cruise and cabaret show featuring dancers, singers and magicians. Don’t forget to take a stroll on the spacious deck for fantastic views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. 1 Night Stay: Sir Stamford Hotel at Circular Quay

DAY 6. Sunday – Depart Sydney (B)

After breakfast, enjoy a free morning before being transferred to the airport for return flights home.
