DAY 1 – Arrive Darwin (D)
Arrive in Darwin where we begin our adventure into Australia’s Kakadu and Kimberley regions. Tonight we dine together at the resorts’ popular restaurant 2 Night Stay: Mindil Beach Casino & Resort, Darwin **Bonus!! Free upgrade to Ocean View Rooms for the first 11 bookings.
DAY 2 – Litchfield National Park (B,L,D)
Today we discover Litchfield National Park, taking in the inspiring views of Tabletop Range. Marvel at the termite mounds before we make our way to Florence Falls. After lunch at Litchfield Café, we stop at Wangi Falls, where year round currents pour into a large swimming hole. Enjoy a refreshing dip before we make our way back to Darwin. This evening we dine out, enjoying a sumptuous seafood buffet whilst enjoying the sunset over the harbour.
DAY 3 – Kakadu National Park (B,L,D)
Journey into World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park, where the landscape spans over 19,000sq km abundant of flora, fauna, dreamtime connections and stunning vistas. We traverse the Magela floodplains and pass spectacular escarpments to arrive at the Aboriginal rock art site of Ubirr. Our indigenous guide takes us through the natural stone galleries giving an insight into the culture associated with these intriguing works of art.

DAY 4 – Kakadu National Park (B,L,D)
Take a birds eye view on a 30-minute scenic flight over the Archway, Arnhem land escarpments and Magela floodplains. In Jabiru we visit the Bowali Visitor Centre and the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre before embarking on a Yellow Water wetlands cruise. Our guide will point out the species of abundant birdlife such as brolga, jabiru and masses of magpie geese. Buffalo and brumbies roam the area and it’s Crocodylus central with an estimated four crocodiles per 100sqm.
DAY 5 – Katherine (B,L,D)
From Kakadu, we travel to Pine Creek breaking for lunch at the Pine Creek Railway Resort. Our afternoon takes us to the picturesque and refreshing Edith Falls before finishing our day at Katherine. 1 Night Stay: Ibis Styles, Katherine
DAY 6 – Katherine Gorge Cruise, Kununurra (B,L,D)
Enjoy a guided gorge cruise on the tranquil calm green waters of the Katherine River taking in some of the park’s 13 gorges. We then venture west along the Victoria Highway, stopping for lunch at Victoria River Crossing, before moving into the East Kimberley region. From here we continue on, breaking at Timber Creek then cross the WA border into Kununurra. 3 Night Stay: Kimberley Grande Resort, Kununurra
DAY 7 – Scenic Flight & Ord River Cruise (B,L,D)
An awe-inspiring day today as we begin with a breathtaking scenic flight over Lake Argyle, the Bungle Bungle Range and the Argyle Diamond Mine. Following this we cruise the famous Ord River with its majestic appeal, rugged landscapes and plentiful wildlife before returning through Durack country to Kununurra. GGP
DAY 8 – Chamberlain Gorge Cruise (B,L,D)
This morning we venture in to El Questro where we join a local ranger then make our way to Chamberlain Gorge. Only accessible by boat, this 3km fresh waterhole is bound by diverse flora and fauna and belittled by a towering escarpment. There’s breathtaking scenery as well as cheeky Archerfish and Barramundi to be fed before we enjoy a Beef & Barra lunch at the spectacular Emma Gorge Resort, hidden within the fiery red of El Questros Cockburn Ranges. Our afternoon takes us back to Kununurra, with a stop at Five Rivers Lookout, an incredible vantage point where the five rivers meet. GGP
DAY 9 – Halls Creek (B,L,D)
Leaving Kununurra behind we travel the Great Northern Highway and parallel the Durack Range to Halls Creek on the northern edge of the Great Sandy and Tanami Deserts, and the site of Western Australia’s first gold discovery. 1 Night Stay: Halls Creek Motel
DAY 10 – Fitzroy Crossing, Danggu Geikie Gorge Cruise (B,L,D)
This morning we travel through the open grasslands of the cattle stations to Fitzroy Crossing. We take time for lunch at the Fitzroy River Lodge, stretch our legs and then continue on to Danggu Geikie Gorge to take a cruise on the Fitzroy River. Witness the spectacular geography of the area, freshwater crocodiles and abundant birdlife, and gain insight into the Kimberley region’s rich indigenous history and culture. 1 Night Stay: Fitzroy River Lodge, Fitzroy Crossing
DAY 11 – Derby, Broome (B,L,D)
Heading west we arrive at the township of Derby, the first town settled in the Kimberley, and home of the Boab Tree. We break for lunch here before continuing on to Broome, affectionally known as the ‘pearl of the north’. 2 Night Stay: Oaks Resort, Broome
DAY 12 – Willie Creek Pearl Farm, Cable Beach (B,D)
We visit Willie Creek Pearl Farm to discover how the Australian South Sea Cultured Pearl is produced, followed by a visit to the Pearl Luggers Museum and Broome Cemetery. This afternoon we take a camel safari ride along famous Cable Beach. **Please note: 95kg weight restrictions apply to camel ride. Lunch today is at your own expense.
DAY 13 – Flights Home
Enjoy breakfast at your leisure before being transferred to the airport where we say our goodbyes and take our respective flights home.
