    Day 1. Sat: Depart Brisbane on Spirit of the Outback

    Depart on the Spirit of the Outback For a fun filled adventure on a train with plenty of country hospitality. The train departs Platform 10, Roma Street Station Brisbane at 1.10pm. Guests are required to be at the station at least 45 minutes prior to departure.

    Day 2. Sun: Arrive Longreach, Sunset Cruise

    Train arrives into Longreach at 1pm. Check in at Longreach Motor Inn before a leisurely sunset river cruise and dinner down the Thomson River. Overnight: Longreach Motor Inn (D)

    Day 3. Mon: Winton, Waltzing Matilda Centre, Age of Dinosaurs Exhibit

    After a continental buffet breakfast we depart for Winton with a scenic drive into the majestic Mesa’s & the Age of Dinosaurs tour. Visit the Waltzing Matilda Centre then lunch & explore Winton. 2 course dinner this evening. Overnight: Longreach Motor Inn (BLD)

    Day 4. Tue: Strathmore Station and Kinnon & Co Starlights Spectacular

    Today after a continental buffet breakfast we visit Strathmore Station. Learn about the daily operations and challenges of running a large Station. Homemade morning tea provided.  Transfer to Kinnon & Co for lunch then the Starlights Spectacular which is themed on an old time Australian tent show, based around the story of Captain Starlight.  It is a mix of poetic story, Australian humour and live theatre. Tonight is a 2 course dinner. Overnight: Longreach Motor Inn (BLD)

    Day 5. Wed: Qantas Museum & Stockman’s Hall of Fame

    A continental buffet breakfast this morning followed by a visit to the Qantas Founders Museum. Enjoy a guided tour of the 747 & 707 and explore the museum followed by lunch. Transfer to Stockman’s Hall of Fame and take a self guided walk around this magnificent exhibit. Farewell Outback Dinner this evening. Overnight: Longreach Motor Inn (BLD)

    Day 6. Thu: Depart Longreach on Spirit of the Outback

    Early this morning depart onboard the Spirit of the Outback.

    Day 7. Fri: Arrive Brisbane

    Arrive into Brisbane early this morning with new friends and a few great yarns to tell your family. Train arrives at Roma Street Station at 6.55am
