Heading deep into Kakadu National Park, you’ll take a guided walk to view ancient Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock, see the famous Yellow Water Billabong where you’ll enjoy a fantastic wildlife cruise. This morning visit the superb rock art site at Ubirr. Join an Aboriginal guided cruise on the East Alligator River and take in the stunning views across the Kakadu Wetlands. Visit Bowali Visitor Centre before an opportunity to take a scenic flight over the Arnhem Land escarpment (additional cost). Return to Darwin and your overnight accommodation at SKYCITY Darwin. (L)
Board The Ghan and travel south to Katherine where you can enjoy an off train Explore and Discover Stop at Katherine Gorge. Reboard The Ghan for your overnight journey to Alice Springs. (BLD)
On arrival in Alice Springs in the morning join an off train Explore and Discover Stop before reboarding the train and enjoying the desert scenery as you continue your journey south overnight. (BLD)
Enjoy one last breakfast on board before ending your holiday at Adelaide Parklands Rail Terminal. (B)
