Day 1: Saturday or Wednesday – Indian Pacific
Join the mighty Indian Pacific in Sydney. (D)
Day 2: Sunday or Thursday – Broken Hill and Adelaide
Explore Broken Hill on a Whistle Stop Tour before reboarding the Indian Pacific for the rest of your journey to Adelaide. Transfer to the Rydges South Park Adelaide. (BL)
Day 3: Monday or Friday – Clare Valley and Flinders Ranges
Head north to the wine regions of the Clare Valley to visit one of the boutique wineries. Travel through vast sheep station country before arriving at Flinders Ranges at Wilpena Pound Resort, your accommodation for the next two nights. (BL)
Day 4: Tuesday or Saturday – Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges, the Prairie Hotel
Your guide will take you through Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges, once an ancient seabed where millions of years of history and the oldest fossils of animal life on Earth are preserved. Enjoy lunch at the Prairie Hotel at Parachilna (population seven). (BL)
Day 5: Wednesday or Sunday – Flinders Ranges and Adelaide
This morning takes you through the Moralana Scenic Drive that provides magnificent views as you travel between Wilpena Pound and Elder Range. Make your way from Quorn through Pichi Richi Pass, travel along the coast back to Adelaide. Stay overnight at Rydges South Park Adelaide. (BL)
Day 6: Thursday or Monday – Adelaide
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. (B)
Alternative Departure: Perth to Adelaide departs on Sunday. Perth to Sydney departs on Wednesday.
