Day 1 (Fri) – ADELAIDE

Day 2 (Sat) – ADELAIDE TO KANGAROO ISLAND
Enjoy a scenic coach journey to Cape Jervis taking in the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula. On arrival, board the ferry for the 45 minute crossing to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Be introduced to your local guide and begin your island nature experience. At Seal Bay your guide will escort you on a memorable walk along the beach while the sea-lions bask in the sun and frolic among the sand dunes. Enter an exclusive heritage-listed natural bush property to enjoy a delicious gourmet picnic style lunch with South Australian wine. As the day draws to a close, see the kangaroos leave the safety of the bush and begin to graze on the open pastures. You will be escorted to your overnight accommodation for a well deserved rest. (B)
Day 3 (Sun) – KANGAROO ISLAND TO ADELAIDE
Travel to the western end of the Island and discover the remarkable Flinders Chase National Park. See New Zealand fur seals at Cape du Couedic and discover the formation of Remarkable Rocks. These large granite boulders balance dramatically on the cliff edge. At Admirals Arch see where the powerful forces of nature have cut through the headland to create this natural geological formation. A delicious gourmet style picnic lunch will be served in a secluded bush setting. Relax on the journey back to Penneshaw for the return ferry to the mainland and coach transfer to Hilton Adelaide. Day 4 (Mon) – ADELAIDE
Today is yours to explore what Adelaide has to offer. Stroll through Rundle Mall, delight your taste buds at the Central Markets or sip on a coffee and take in the cafe culture of the East End. (B)
Day 5 (Tue) – INDIAN PACIFIC, ADELAIDE AND BROKEN HILL
This morning, after breakfast, check out of your hotel and be transferred to Adelaide Parklands Terminal. Boarding the Indian Pacific in Adelaide, take in the striking, ever-changing landscape of South Australia as you travel east towards Broken Hill. Broken Hill is one of Australia’s legendary outback bases defined by its wide streets, country pubs and ties with the Royal Flying Doctors Service and School of the Air. Have a brief stop to explore the outback town. (B,L,D)
Day 6 (Wed) – INDIAN PACIFIC, SYDNEY
Wake this morning as you wind your way through the magnificent Blue Mountains and roll into Sydney Central Station. (B)
