Day 1 – Arrive Melbourne (D)

Arrive at Melbourne airport early afternoon and join our local coach captain and make our way into the hub of Melbourne. This evening enjoy a welcome in true Melbourne style aboard the elegant Colonial Tramcar Restaurant. 4 Night Stay: Crowne Plaza, Melbourne CBD

Day 2 – Melbourne (B,L,D)

This morning we visit the Melbourne Museum. Our tour guide will give an overview of the museum’s displays taking us around the galleries and pointing out some of the highlights that you might like to revisit. We then experience Australia’s best Little Italy – perfect for an Italian indulgence. Brunetti’s in Lygon Street, Carlton. This afternoon, take a guided tour of the Australian Tapestry Workshop. This is regarded as an international centre of excellence for innovative, contemporary, hand-woven tapestries. GGP

Day 3 – Melbourne (B,L,D)

Enjoy a relaxed and fun day of discount retail therapy without the worry of carrying bags, negotiating public transport or finding directions. Join our local shopaholic tour host exploring back-street warehouses, pop-up sales and discount shopping streets. We take you to the outlets that you may not find on your own. Next, enjoy a lunch like no other, a high tea at The Langham, one of Melbourne’s most prestigious hotels. After your royal luncheon, enjoy free time this afternoon. GGP

Day 4 – Melbourne (B,D)

Today is the highlight of the tour, the Melbourne Craft and Quilt Fair. The Melbourne Exhibition Centre transforms into craft heaven! A full day to discover new skills, take on a new project, watch workshops, discover the latest and greatest in your craft field of choice and shop to your heart’s content. You will find everything under the one roof. This evening, a finale dinner with none-other than Fun Over Fifty’s celebrity guest – exclusive fun just for us! Be ready to be surprised and laugh until you cannot laugh anymore! Lunch at own expense today. You may wish to pre-book your choice of workshops today. Day 5 – Melbourne

Check out today is 10am. Take in some last minute shopping before we transfer to the airport for our respective flights home. (B)
