    Day 2 – Sat 5 May 2012

This morning we take in the vibrant autumn colours as we traverse the New England Plateau on our way to join in the Australian Celtic Festival in Glen Innes. Enjoy a day of Celtic traditions including mass pipe bands, strongman events, jousting, street parades, market stalls, yard dog championships and Celtic dancers, all set amid the striking granite monoliths - the Standing Stones. Day 3 – Sun 6 May 2012

This morning we allow time for you to dress in your fineries, ready for a magical day at `Opera in the Vineyard.’  This black tie event features world class performers, award winning wines, spectacular scenery and a gala dinner dance in the evening.  We have secured a full day pass arriving at Ballandean Estate Wines for 11.30am buffet lunch, afternoon performance and gala dinner concert, returning to our Motel approx 8.30pm.(B,L,D)

A later start this morning after our night out, where firstly we take a tour around Tenterfield passing the Saddlers Shop and famous Cork Tree.  A visit to the Bramble Patch Berry Farm is next on our agenda, a place well renowned for quality strawberries, raspberries and boysenberries.  We indulge in the Berry Waffle Basket surrounded by crops of berries, and taste the samples of produce available for purchase.  Departing the Granite Belt we stop en-route at Warwick for lunch before making our return to Roma St, Brisbane at approximately 4.30pm.
