Salt lake gives way to the desolate Nullarbor Plain, stop at one of the world’s most isolated outposts, Cook. Stretch your legs and then it’s onto Kalgoorlie where you can explore on an optional Whistle Stop Tour (BLD)
Arrive in Perth and transfer to your accommodation for the next three nights at the Travelodge Perth Hotel. The rest of the day is free to enjoy at your leisure. (B)
Enjoy a full day discovering Perth’s major tourist attractions on board ‘The City Explorer Tour’, a replica 1899 Perth tram. Cruise along the Swan River on your way to Fremantle. Enjoy a scenic tour before some free time to explore at your own pace.

Today you will fly from Perth to Darwin (additional cost) and check in to SKYCITY Darwin ready for the next stage of this ultimate adventure.
Heading deep into Kakadu National Park you’ll visit the Warradjan Cultural Centre, the famous Yellow Water Billabong where you’ll enjoy a fantastic wildlife cruise, and the impressive rock art site at Nourlangie. Stay overnight at Kakadu’s Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn. (BL)
This morning you have the option to take a scenic flight over the Arnhem Land escarpment (additional cost) before visiting the superb rock art site at Ubirr. You also join an Aboriginal guided cruise on the East Alligator River and take in the stunning views across the Kakadu Wetlands. Return to Darwin early evening where you’ll stay at SKYCITY Darwin for two nights. (L)

Join The Ghan in Darwin and travel south to Katherine past lush, tropical scenery. Enjoy a spectacular Whistle Stop Tour†at Katherine Gorge, then hop back onboard for your overnight journey to Alice Springs. (BLD)
Awake to the lovely desert scenery of Central Australia before arriving in Alice Springs and transferring to The Chifley Alice Springs Resort. This afternoon is free to explore Alice Springs at your leisure. (B)
Travel through Uluru, the West MacDonnell and James Ranges. Visit the Outback Camel Farm, pass Attila (Mt Conner) before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. This afternoon, enjoy a guided walk to the waterhole of Mutitjulu. See cave paintings and hear the legends. Tour the base of Uluru on the Mala Walk before returning to Ayers Rock Resort, Desert Gardens Hotel. (B)
Rise early to watch the sun casts its first rays on Uluru. Travel to the immense 36 rock domes of Kata Tjuta. Enjoy a guided walk into Walpa Gorge. Marvel at the sheer walls that flank you. This afternoon travel to Kings Canyon and your overnight acommodation at Kings Canyon Resort. This evening dine in a wilderness setting under a canopy of the southern night sky at the sensational Under a Desert Moond dinner. (D)
Enjoy a guided walk to the rim of Kings Canyon or alternatively, join an easier walk along the canyon floor. Continue on to Alice Springs, stopping en route at the Kings Creek Cattle Station. Overnight, The Chifley Alice Springs Resort.
Take in any last minute sights before joining The Ghan to head south overnight to Port Augusta. (BLD)
Enjoy one last breakfast on board before ending your holiday in Adelaide. (B)
