    Day 1. Thu – Arrive Perth

    Arrive in Perth for a brief orientation tour visiting Kings Park & Botanic Gardens before we check-in at the Miss Maud’s Swedish Hotel for a 2 night stay. (D)

    Day 2. Fri – Swan River Cruise, Fremantle, Rottnest Island

    Departing Perth we cruise the Swan River to Fremantle where we board our ferry to Rottnest Island to take a guided coach tour of the island. This tour encompasses Aboriginal, European, colonial, maritime, military, recreational and social heritage. Complete your Rottnest Island experience with lunch at Rottnest Lodge. (B,L,D)

    Day 3. SaT – Wildflower Farm, Geraldton

    Depart for Geraldton via New Norcia, home to a community of Benedictine Monks and beautiful Spanish architecture for morning tea. We then visit Coomberdale’s Wildflower Farm before travelling on the wildflower trail to the Hospitality Inn, Geraldton for the next 2 nights. (B,MT,L,D)

    Day 4. Sun – Northampton, Red Bluff, Geraldton

    Today we travel into the southern edge of the Murchison Basin, via the historical mining town of Northampton, and then on to the coastal gorge Red Bluff. Walk on the wild side visiting Rainbow Jungle, regarded as Australia’s most beautiful parrot habitat, before heading to Hawks Head to view the river gorges and magnificent wildflowers. Return to Geraldton late afternoon. (B,L,D)

    Day 5. Mon – Port Denison, Pinnacles, Cervantes

    This morning we take a short tour of Geraldton, passing the HMAS Sydney Memorial and the Francis Xavier Church then head south passing the picturesque holiday resort of Port Denison. Some spectacular sighting of the wildflowers will be seen as we travel through Eneabba & Jurien Bay. A visit to The Pinnacles at sunset is a highlight of the day before we check-in at the Pinnacles Motel, Cervantes. (B,L,D)

    Day 6. Tue – Wave Rock, Hyden

    This morning we head via Gingin to Wave Rock, one of Australia’s most incredible landforms. Geologists believe it has taken 2700 million years to take on its wave-like character. We continue on and check-in to the Hyden Motel. (B,L,D)

    Day 7. WeD – Kalgoorlie

    Today we head east to the mining town of Kalgoorlie known as the City of Gold. We travel the Golden Mile to view the massive mining pit before we check-in to the Railway Motel for a 2 night stay. (B,L,D)

    Day 8. Thu – Kalgoorlie

    Today we travel from exploration to exhilaration at the Mining Hall of Fame, watch a gold pour and take a tour underground. After lunch we encounter the golden tale of discovery through the tracks of time at the popular Kalgoorlie Museum. (B,L,D)

    Day 9. Fri – Norseman, Cape le Grand National Park, Esperance

    Travelling south through the mining town of Norseman, we visit Cape le Grand N.P. to see the beautiful Bay of Isles. We then take the scenic coastal loop round into Esperance before checking in at the Comfort Inn Bay of Isles for an overnight stay. (B,L,D)

    Day 10. SaT – Albany

    This morning we take in the sights of Esperance, including the salt-tolerant Pink Lake, before travelling through the Stirling Ranges. Enjoy lunch at the fascinating Yongergnow Mallee Fowl Centre, then continue on to Albany and check-in to the Dog Rock Motel or Comfort Inn for a 2 night stay. (B,L,D)

    Day 11. Sun – Albany & Surrounds

    We start our day with a visit to The Gap and Natural Bridge, then a visit to the award winning heritage attraction of Whale World for a tour and lunch. View the beautiful scenery at the wind farm, visit Mt Clarence Memorial, then move on to Mt Romance and the Sandalwood Factory. (B,L,D)

    Day 12. Mon – Valley of the Gians, Pemberton

    Today it’s off to visit the Valley of the Giants and the wonderful tree top walk approximately 50 metres above the ground. We then travel on to the Bi-Centennial Tree via Beedalup Falls which at this time of the year should have a steady flow of water over its gradual 100 metre fall. Driving through the Karri trees, we head back to the Gloucester Motel, Pemberton for an overnight stay. (B,L,D)

    Day 13. Tue – Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, Augusta, Margaret River

    This morning’s drive will take us to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse where the Southern & Indian Oceans meet. The route from Augusta takes us to the heart of Western Australia’s wine growing area. Stopping at the Voyager Estate for lunch and a sampling of their premium wines, we then move on to the Margaret River Chocolate Company before checking into the Australis Motel for an overnight stay.     Day 14. WeD – Busselton, Perth

    Some free time in town this morning before leaving Margaret River and driving out to the Cape Naturalist area via the stunning Canal Rocks. We break at the coastal town of Busselton for lunch before heading north to the Forest of Tuart, a tree unique to this area. Passing through Fremantle we make our way to Miss Maud’s Swedish Hotel for our final night together. (B,L,D)

    Day 15. Thu – Flights home

    Enjoy an early breakfast before being transferred to the airport for our flight back home. (B)
