DAY 1: SUNDAY OR WEDNESDAY – The Ghan

Join The Ghan in Adelaide. Settle into the comforts of this great train as you travel north to Alice Springs. (D)

DAY 2: MONDAY OR THURSDAY – Outback and Alice Springs

After Arriving in Alice Springs, transfer to The Chifley Alice Springs Resort. The rest of the day is free. (B)

DAY 3: TUESDAY OR FRIDAY – Alice Springs to Uluru

Travel from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Resort. This afternoon visit the Uluru sunset viewing area and watch as the evening sky brings out the many shades of colour for which Uluru is famous. Enjoy an Outback BBQ to complete your evening. (BD)

DAY 4: WEDNESDAY OR SATURDAY – Kata Tjuta

View sunrise over Uluru before travelling by coach to the Mutitjulu Walk. See Aboriginal rock paintings and learn about the history of Uluru. This afternoon, visit Kata Tjuta and take a walk in the valley between the massive red conglomerate rocks.

DAY 5: THURSDAY OR SUNDAY – Uuru and Kings Canyon

Enjoy the morning at your leisure. This afternoon travel to Kings Canyon.

DAY 6: FRIDAY OR MONDAY – Kings Canyon

Join a guided climb to the rim of Kings Canyon or alternatively enjoy an easier walk along the canyon floor. Stop at Kings Canyon Resort before returning to Alice Springs.

DAY 7: SATURDAY OR TUESDAY – Alice Springs

Today is free to explore at your own pace. (B)

DAY 8: SUNDAY OR WEDNESDAY – Palm Valley

A 4WD adventure down Finke River to the oasis setting at Palm Valley and on to Hermannsburg. (BL)

DAY 9: MONDAY OR THURSDAY – The Ghan

Late afternoon join The Ghan to travel north towards Darwin. (B)

DAY 10: TUESDAY OR FRIDAY – Katherine and Darwin

Stop in Katherine, enjoy an off train Explore and Discover Stop. Arrive into Darwin late afternoon and check in to the SKYCITY Darwin for the next two nights. (BL)

DAY 11: WEDNESDAY OR SATURDAY – Darwin

Today hop on and off the Tour Tub, a fun open-air bus that operates an hourly route around Darwin city including stops at various attractions. (B)

DAY 12: THURSDAY OR SUNDAY – Darwin to Kakadu

Travel deep into Kakadu National Park. Visit Nourlangie Rock to view ancient Aboriginal rock art before joining your cruise on Yellow Water Billabong. (BL)

DAY 13: FRIDAY OR SUNDAY – Kakadu to Darwin

This morning stop at Ubirr with a short walk to view Aboriginal rock art. Join you Guluyambi Cruise along the East Alligator River with your Aboriginal guide. Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre before returning to Darwin. (L)

DAY 14: SATURDAY OR MONDAY – Darwin

Enjoy one last breakfast, at the hotel before checking out. (B)
