Day 1: Thursday – Indian Pacific
Board the Indian Pacific in Adelaide and enjoy dinner as you pass the Southern Flinders Ranges. (D)
Day 2: Friday – The Nullarbor, Cook and Kalgoorlie
Stop at Cook, where there’s time to stroll around before travelling west to Kalgoorlie. (BLD)
Day 3: Saturday – Perth
Arrive in Perth. Join a city tour before enjoying a welcome drink and dinner. (BD)
Day 4: Sunday – Perth and Margaret River
Travel south through Busselton, and on to Mammoth Cave, home to ancient fossil remains. Continue to Margaret River and your base for the next two nights. (BD)
Day 5: Monday – Margaret River
Enjoy a scenic journey through the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and see Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. Later join a tour, tastings and delicious lunch at Palandri Winery. (BL)
Day 6: Tuesday – Margaret River and Albany
View the Gloucester Tree and journey through the Valley of the Giants. Continue to the Natural Bridge and The Gap, then visit Whaleworld. Overnight Albany. (BD)
Day 7: Wednesday – Albany and Esperance
Visit the Anzac Memorial and travel to Bluff Knoll Lookout to witness the Stirling Ranges. Continue to Esperance and the Pink Lake. Overnight Esperance. (BD)
Day 8: Thursday – Cape Le Grand and Kalgoorlie
Travel into Cape Le Grand National Park for coastal views and north to the historic gold mining township of Kalgoorlie your base for the next two nights. (BD)
Day 9: Friday – Kalgoorlie
Try panning for gold, witness gold bullion being poured and go underground for a tour of the Mining Reserve. This afternoon explore this gold town at leisure. (B)
Day 10: Saturday – Wave Rock
Journey to Wave Rock a striking rock formation, resembling a gigantic wave. Continue to York before travelling on to Fremantle. Overnight Fremantle. (BD)
Day 11: Sunday – Fremantle and Perth
Explore Fremantle at leisure before joining a cruise along the Swan River to Perth. Stay at Miss Maud Swedish Hotel, your base for the next two nights. (B)
Day 12: Monday – Perth
Today is free for you to enjoy at leisure. (B)
Day 13: Tuesday – Perth
Check out of your hotel this morning. (B)
