    Day 1 – Arrive Darwin

    Flights arrive into Darwin airport where we are met by our Coach Captain for the start of a ten day adventure of Australia’s Kimberley region. We take an orientation tour of Darwin en-route to our hotel. Arrive and check-in at the Novotel Atrium or Holiday Inn Darwin for 2 nights. . (D)

    Day 2 – Darwin & Surrounds, Wetland Cruise

    Today we enjoy some of the sights of Darwin and its surrounds. We start with an informative guided cruise with Wildlands Wetlands Safari’s on the Corroboree Billabong and Mary River Flood Plain before returning to the city for sight-seeing. We spend the evening enjoying a sumptuous seafood buffet whilst admiring the sun set over Darwin Harbour. (B,L,D)

    Day 3 – Nitmiluk National Park, Katherine Gorge Cruise

    This morning we head south along the Stuart Highway travelling through the town of Adelaide River and stopping for morning tea. We continue on through Pine Creek to Edith Falls for a picnic lunch. Our afternoon takes us to Nitmiluk National Park for a guided Gorge Cruise on the Katherine River. We overnight at Knotts Crossing Resort, Katherine. (B,MT,L,D)

    Day 4 – Lake Argyle Resort, Kununurra

    Heading west along the Victoria Highway, we pass over Victoria River Crossing and travel into the East Kimberley region. We continue on through Timber Creek, cross the W.A border and arrive at the Lake Argyle Resort Hotel for lunch. From the dam wall we cruise the famous Ord River with expert commentary of the region. We take in the sunset over the Carr Boyd Ranges before docking at Lake Kununurra and checking in to our accommodation at Kununurra Lakeside Resort for 2 nights. (B,MT,L,D)

    Day 5 – Lake Argyle, Bungle Bungle and Argyle Diamond Mine Flight

    We have an early start this morning taking off from Kununurra Airport for a scenic flight over majestic Lake Argyle, the world heritage listed Bungle Bungle Range and Argyle Diamond Mine. We land back at Kununurra taking a day trip to Wyndham travelling over the Bastion Range which rises 330 metres above sea level offering stunning views of the Five Rivers and the Cambridge Gulf. We discover historic Wyndham Port before breaking for lunch at the Zebra Rock Gallery (a unique rock pattern found only in this area). We head back to Kununurra for some free time before returning to the Resort. (B,L,D)

    Day 6 – Argyle Diamond Mine Tour, Halls Creek

    Today we take in a ground tour of the Argyle Diamond Mine, which is the world’s largest supplier of naturally coloured diamonds, and home of the famous and rare Pink Diamond. After lunch we parallel the Durack Range to the Kimberley Hotel at Halls Creek, where we check-in for an overnight stay. (B,L,D)

    Day 7 – Fitzroy Crossing

    We hit the Great Northern Highway this morning travelling through the open grasslands of the cattle stations to Fitzroy Crossing. We lunch at the Fitzroy River Lodge, stretch our legs and then continue to Geikie Gorge to take a cruise on the Fitzroy River. View the freshwater crocodiles and the abundant bird life before heading back to our accommodation at the Fitzroy River Lodge. (B,L,D)

    Day 8 – Derby, Broome

    Heading west we arrive at the township of Derby, the first town settled in the Kimberley, and home of the Boab Tree. We break for lunch here before arriving in Broome and checking in to The Oaks for a 2 night stay. (B,L,D)

    Day 9 – Broome

    This morning we call in at Willie Creek Pearl Farm for an informative talk and a guided boat tour of the oyster beds. Return to Broome for lunch and take some free time before heading to Cable Beach for a Sunset Camel Ride. (B,L,D)

    Day 10 – Flight home

    Enjoy breakfast at your leisure before being transferred to the airport where we say our goodbyes and take our respective flights home. A sensational tour that has left no stone unturned and includes absolutely everything. (B)

    For passengers who would like to arrive in Darwin early, extend their stay in Broome or stopover in Perth on their way home, please advise the office at time of booking and we can arrange your flights to suit your travel plans.
