Depart for your journey on the Cairns Tilt Train at 6.25pm from Roma St Station, Brisbane in comfortable Business Class seats to the Whitsundays.
Arrive to late breakfast at Reef Gateway Resort in Airlie Beach. Transfer onward to your accommodation for the next 2 nights on beautiful Daydream Island Resort. Unpack in your comfortable 4 ½ star room, then make your way to lunch at your own leisure. (B,L,D)
Full hot and cold buffet breakfast. Today your tour host will assist in coordinating island activities which you may wish to participate in, including visiting the Coral Reef Lagoon. Following lunch we will depart for an afternoon cruise to Whitehaven Beach, known throughout the world for it’s beautiful beaches, returning to Daydream Island for Dinner. (B,L,D)
Full hot and cold buffet breakfast, then we will depart Daydream Island for a visit to Long Island Resort. After exploring the Island we will enjoy a buffet luncheon then relax and enjoy the magical Whitsunday views before returning to the mainland and checking in to the Reef Gateway Resort this afternoon. Another great dinner tonight. (B,L,D)
Hot and cold breakfast, depart resort and travel by Tilt Train to Cairns in Business Class style seats. Arrive in Cairns and transfer to Cairns Queenslander. After enjoying dinner for those that feel like a stroll your tour host will escort you to the night markets. (B,D)
Breakfast, then depart for the Tablelands. The first stop is the majestic lake Barrine for Devonshire Tea, then travel onward to witness the Curtain Fig Tree. We travel through the town of Yungaburra and stop for lunch at Gallo Dairy Farm. We then travel through Atherton and Mareeba and stop at Jaques Coffee Plantation. We then travel to Kuranda taking the Skyrail back to the base station, to be met by coach and return to hotel for dinner. (B,MT,L,D)
Breakfast then depart by coach for a picturesque drive up the coast to Port Douglas. Then we make our way to Mossman Gorge and onward to the Daintree River for morning tea and a boat cruise. We then travel onward to Cape Tribulation, stopping for lunch. We then visit the Daintree Discovery Centre and learn more about this beautiful rainforest area. For those of you who wish to do so, you can walk the man made structure through the canopy of the trees before travelling back across the river by vehicular cable ferry to make our way back to Cairns Queenslander in time for another lovely dinner this evening. Breakfast, today enjoy a scenic calm water cruise up the Trinity Inlet half day tour. Excellent commentary while on board, take in the sights and learn about local flora, fauna, culture and history. Return to Cairns via coach while viewing the outer city sights and mountain scenery. Lunch today at Cairns Queenslander. Free time today to relax or shop in Cairns. Two course dinner this evening. Today you will arrive at your home station after enjoying a scenic rail journey from North Queensland with your new found friends. Train is scheduled to arrive into Roma St Station Brisbane at 3.55pm
